What a Pain

So i wanted to settle in last night and watch sportscenter, unfortunately the NBA playoffs were on. So I settled for Punk'd. Is anyone with me in saying that the NBA is grossly overpopular, as its basically a competition between iverson, lebron, garnett, shaq? theres no passing. its just dunk after dunk. its BBOORRRRINNNGG!!! last year was entertaining for the pure fact that the little pistons pounded the mightly lakers. but now i just REALLY don't care. I'm making myself sick by just making this a topic.

Nowitzki gets no respect. It is a competition between those guys you said and Nowitzki and the runnin' Mavs, thank you very much.

I love the playoffs this year, partly because any team could beat any other team, but mostly...

No LeBron, Kobe, or KG in the playoffs!!

It got soo bad on SportsCenter earlier this week that they mentioned who were in the playoffs, and then proceded to do a story on the Lakers. Dan Patrick segued into it by saying, "And now for a team not in the playoffs..." If they're not in the playoffs, WHY TALK ABOUT THEM?!?!? No one cares. Not the average sports fan. We're not all in the Media. The people on the coasts buy into this stuff so much more than we do.

Oh, and the Mavs will go 16-1. Mark it down.

The playoffs will be good this year, especially as they progress. Everything is wide open. I like the Mavs, even told people I thought they were a sleeper..but if they play like they did Saturday with 4 guys watching Dirk run around, they'll get beat.

Someone needs to go kick Erick Dampier in the shins, get him to do something. If he does, they'll have a chance.
